The purpose of our review was to provide gravity and lateral engineering in accordance with the requirements of the 2014 OSSC. We have red-lined your attached drawings with the lateral design requirements. Please incorporate these into your final drawings. Gravity Requirements: We have designed the gravity resisting system; including rafters, beams, columns, and footings. Please note: The beam sizes given are minimum requirements, and may be sized larger for architectural or construction purposes. The design of these components is in accordance with 2014 OSSC requirements. Please see the attached calculations and structural details for additional information. Lateral Requirements: We have designed the lateral load resisting system (wind & seismic). The additional lateral load on the existing building is negligible (see the attached calculations). Uplift forces are resolved into the proposed foundations, and in the existing structure. All other construction not specifically detailed herein shall conform to the requirements of the 2014 OSSC. Please contact our office if you have any addition questions or comments. Respectfully Submitted: © FRQp cs G t tl fic9 G 089 P• S. Alan Bodnar, P.E.
