I. CALL TO ORDER'
A. The regular meeting of the Tigard Planning and Zoning
Commission was called to order at 7:40 P.M. in the
library of Fowler Jr. High School, 12080 S.W. Main Street.
II. INTRODUCTIONS
A. Mr. Paterson introduced the two new Commissioners: Robert
Fletcher and Lewis Goslin. .
III. ROLL CALL
A. Present : Commissioners Bob Fletcher, Lew Goslin, George
Lewis, Clarence Nicoli, and Chairman Allan Paterson; .;
Planning Director Emily Wied.
B. Absent: Commissioners Jerry Harris and Charles Woodard;
Public Works Director Keith Thompson.
IV. STUDY SESSION .
A. Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments
i 1. Mrs. Wied presented the staff recommendation for an
A ordinance which would amend several sections of the
zoning ordinance. This is to be a "housekeeping"
type of ordinance correcting typographical errors,
i contradictions and administrative problems.
? 2. The Commission proceeded page by page through the
proposals and made recommendations for changes and
staff rewriting.
'i 3. Mr. Paterson recommended that the study session
be continued at the next meeting on January 20,
and that the Commission review the changes then.

V. OTHER MATTERS
A. Comprehensive Plan Progress
1. Allan Paterson reported on the progress of the
Informal Planning Committee, and suggested that
the Commission review the work which they have
done at the next meeting.
B. Election of Officers
1. Allan Paterson reminded the Commission that new
officers should be elected at the next meeting.
