ZONE CHANGE - A resolution by the Planning and Zoning Commission i recommending that the City Council change the zoning from C-2 to C-3 on proper,ty located at - 11524 SW Pacitic Highway. This will make the zoning on this property conform to the City's ? Zoniny Ordinance. �' a. Staff Recommendation for approval. '? ,, b. Motion by Mr. Aitkens to approve the resolution. c. Second by Mx. Perry. d. Mai:ion passed by a unanimous vote of the members present. i 5. DEDICATION TO PUB7�IC OF SW CEN'PER COURT - I.ocated on Gr.eenburg • � Road approximately 85' `� NW of Center Stree�. ;;' Dedication from Tax I,ot 4400, Map 1S1 35DD. Tabled on March 19, ' 196E3, pending more t� information from Mr. Klock.` a. Staff Recommendation to approve the dedication if t�e street is improved wi•th sidewalks and curbs. b. Public Hearing opened. 1) Mr. Klock told the Planning and Zor�ing Commissxon that ;: the Staff Recommendation was unreasonable. He said, that the City Administrator had suggested the street be dedicated so the Cit� could facilitate better police ;' j. � � , a � � � t y; z i � proteetion. He went on to add , that if the City did not accept the street he would let the taxes �lapse and thus it would become. public property anywaY• ;'; , 2) Mr. Paterson asked Mx. Klock if: he woulci sign a � letter o£ intent to improve SW Celnter Court at the same time as the Plaza impraves SW 89. �` � ;i 3) Mr. Klock said he had no objectipns. � �, , 4) Mr. Woodard asked Mr. Klock, why he objected to � improving the street at this t.i,re, if he planned to �� improve the street in the future? i, 5) Mr. Klock said it would be easier for him to improve the street iin the future. c. Motior► by Mr. Aitkens to accept the dedicati.on providing � Mr. Klock signs a letter of intent to improve SW Center Court with curbs and siclewalks at the same time the Plaza improyes SW f39th Street.
