RECOMMENDATION OF PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE AND ZONING MAP Motion by Mr. Annand that the Zoning Map as displayed in the public hearing as described by Larry Bissett be amended as follows: 1. That portions lying North of Hunziker Road, East of Garden Place and South of the Northerly Section Line of Section !, 1 Ti S R1W be changed from C-2 to M-3. 2. That the Tax Lot #'s 2100, 2200, 3500, 3501, and 3502 as indicated on Map # 2 S 12 CB of our present Zoning Ordinance be changed from A-2 to C-3. 4�. 3. That portions of Tax Lot # 200 as indicated on Map # 2 S 12 CB of our present Zoning Ordinance - 3.16 chains ¢' (208.56 feet) North of Pacific Hwy. be changed from A-2 to C-3, 4. That Tax Lot # 1900 and # 2000 as indicated on Map # 2 S! 1 10 A of our present Zoning Ordinance be changed from C-4 to A-2. 5. That the property on the North side of Pacific Hwy. and within the city limits within Section 21 of T2 S R1 W be changed from A-2 to M-3. Seconded by Mr. Nicoli. Approved by a unanimous vote of Commission. Motion by Mr. Paterson that the Commission amend the Zoning Ordinance text in Section 210-8 by adding a paragraph (d) to read as follows: That no buildings shall be constructed on either side of the Highway 99W (Pacific Hwy.) within • the city limits, within 40' of the fee title ownership line of the Oregon State Highway Department. Seconded by Mr. Severson. Approved by a unanimous vote of Commission. Motion by Mr. Annand that the Commission amend the .Zoning Ordinance text in Section 120-1 (c) to read as follows: Apartment Dwellings - (Provided that any common boundary between an A-2 zone and any other residential zone be screened by a fence with a minimum heighth of five (5") feet and the responsibility of the erection of the fence to be upon the property ownership in the AI-2 zone.) Seconded by Mr. Paterson. Approved by a unanimous vote pt Commission. Logan, City fy Administrator in regards to drawing up an Ordinance on Underground H • Utilities was read. 1' Alan Paterson was appointed chairman of a .committee to make ', a study on the Underground Utility Ordinance and to report to the Commission their findings at the next regular meeting. . ii 8. DISCUSSION OP SIGN ORDINANCE .; Larry Bissett, John Perry, Keith Thompson, and Alan Paterson , volunteered to revise the Sign Ordinance and present it to ' the Planning Commission at the next regular meeting. 9. MISCELLANEOUS Clarence Nicoli was appointed chairman of the, "GO" (Goals '' & Objecti4lds) Committee to set up a program for the activities t.� of the Planning & Zoning Commission. �, f, 10.
