Public Hearing - 7:30 P.M.
Mr. George Penrose, representing Katherine Mac Donnell,
testified that they wanted to more fully utilize the land
area and that there were no immediate lans for. con-

struction.
A letter from Mabel McDonald, who is against this zone
change, was read. Mr. Pete Goswell and Helen Riverman
testified against the zone change. Their reasons were
that they would like more definite plans for construction
and that they would not want apartments built next to
their property.
Hearing closed.
Motion for denial by Mr. Phillips, Seconded by
Mr. Nicoll.
Approved by a 4-1 vote of the Commission.
4. BRANCO INVESTMENTS INC. - Variance - A request for a variance
for more than 10,000 sq. feet in an
M-3 (Light Manufacturing) zone, Tax
Lot # 1200, Map # 2 S 1 2 AD. Located
at S.W. Commercial and Hwy. 217.

Public Hearing - 8:15 P.M.
Carolyn Filey, Mrs. Josephson & Peggy Goetze testified
against this zone variance. Their reasons were that
that there would be an increase in traffic and it would
affect the value of their homes.
ILA letter from Mr. & Mrs. John Weber, who are in favor A'
of the zone variance, was read. Howard Gass, ',
Mr. Fletcher & Doug Jones testified for the zone
variance. Tom Wells of Metro Realty presented a
photograph of the proposed Prairie Market. C.

Mr. Perry presented a street dedication for 105th Avenue.
Motion by Mr. Annand that the street be moved eastward i
five (5) feet so that the adjacent property owners
would have access to the cul-de-sac and that the plan
be resubmitted to the Commission. Seconded by Mr. Paterson.
