H. Schulte, J. N. �I Aitkin, John Perry, Everett Severson, Clarence Nicoll, L. A. eissett and Councilman C. E. �. Klock, Sr. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by President Phillips. The minutes of the August 19, 1965, meeting were read, and President Phillips asked for corrections, additions or omissions. None being offered the minutes were then approved as read. ' President Phillips: We have a requested zone change, which was submitted by Trevor Downes, on the property located at 11865-67 S.W. Greenburg Road, Tax Lot 100, iS 1 35DC. The requested zone change is from R-5 (residential) to A-2 (multiple dwelling.) President Phillips asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to testify regarding this zone change. Pastor Summers, Assembly of God Church, asked if there would-be a fence between the apartment building and the Church property. �. Councilman Klock: I would say the zoning law will control 4'I' the matter of a fence. Mr. Nicoll.: I move that we recommend to City Council a L. zone change from R-5 (residential) to A-2 (multiple dwelling) on Tax Lot #100 on the property located at•11865-67 S.W. Greenbur Road, and owned g by Trevor Downes. Motion seconded by Mr. Severson. Upon call for vote the- motion was unanimously ;' approved by the Commission, majority members being present. Mr. Keesiing's Attorney, James K. Gardner, asked about the proposed zone change on Ksesling'sproperty which is was presented to the Commission in July 1964, There was some question as to the width of the roadway at the time the zone change was requested. Attorney Anderson, Council- man Klock, and President Phillips will meet next week to discuss this zone change. Mr. Eckmann, Western States Development Co., Inc., was here in regard to the Riesling property. He submitted a plan for a proposed apartment building which they plan • to build if this zone change is granted. Page 1 - 9/30/65 IL President Phillips: Larry Bissett has finished our zoning maps, and we are putting them on slides. Mr. Phillips: I would like to call a special meeting October 12, 1965, Tuesday, to discuss our Planning and Zoning Ordinance. We would like to have this Ordinance ready by December 1, 1965. • President Phillips: We have had some proposed annexations in the City-.--the Tualatin River Annexation and the �. Bonita Industrial Annexation. We should review the zoning F on these properties to see how the zoning fits in with our new Ordinance and future plans. I Adjournment taken at 8:20 P.M.
