Pietila; L.!). Good; Mayor 3 A. Woodard and L. A. Bissett. t President Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and requested the reading of the minutes of the meeting of August 27, 1964. Upon call for corrections or omissions the following correction was made Pace 1, paragraph 5 the reference should he from R-5 to A•-2 instead of C-2. With this correction the minutes were ordered to stand approved as read. EI ri President Phillips stated the first item on the Agenda was II • a review of pending annexations and called for a report from Mr. A. J. Poulin. Mr. Poulin gave a comprehensive report of the present t status of the area along the Southwest Pacific Highway with , respect to properties and valuation which have been either signed or agreed to sic:n the annexation petition. sl Members of the audience Mr. Bade, Mr. C. H. Stearns and Mr. it Howard Duffy raised some questions and Mr. Phillips advised that this meeting was not a hearing on any proposed annexation i,l, and that when a formal hearing is proposed everyone in the area will be notified. ll, tl President Phillips: Next on our Aoencta is the Martin Annexation: Probably Larry Bissett would like to discuss this matter. Larry Bissett then discussed the map which was snown to the Commission which dealt with the road structure and • possible sewer easement. `: President Phillips: Next I thought we would have a little further discussion on this proposed Rybro area. We have no authority over it, we are just merely an interested group in the project and its annexation to the City of Tigard. (There was considerable discussion with respect to the size of the lots and the possible type of homes to be built in l this area.) f, Mr. Karl Hanneman; Mr. Cowley, Bone Supervisor of Multnomah ' County; Mr. Alan Paterson of Paterson Realty; Mr. William ,n Johnson as well as members of the Commission entered into the discussion. Mr. Wayne Adkins of Stan Adkins Builders (- also spoke about the type and size lots that they were I,w developing. 0 Page 1 - 9-17-64 il [ . a • • President Phillips: The next item on our Agenda would be a review of pending zone changes. We have a zone change request from Stan and Wayne Adkins for 9350 S.W. Tigard Avenue from A-2 to ,M-3 Group C. We will have a special meeting two weeks from tonight, October 1st and will set the hearing for that night. The property owners in the required boundary limits will be notified of this requested zone change and the hearing date. President Phillips stated the next item of business would he the Planning and Zoning Ordinance and some discussion was entered into by members of the Commission. No action was taken at this time. The petition of residents of Brookside Avenue dated August 4, 1964, was read and after discussion the following action was taken. Motion by Ben Brazauski: I move that we change the street name, lying between Johnson and Walnut that is t' now named Watkins, to Brookside Avenue and Brookside Court for the cul-de-sac. Motion seconded by Al Pietila and upon call for vote was unanimously approved, majority members heing present. V There being no further. business Al Pietila moved to adjourn, r seconded by Ben Brazauski and unanimously approved by F members present. Adjournment taken at 9:40 P.M. �.
