Approved 2. Approved as Corrected 3. Not Approved 4. Revise and Resubmit Remarks: • Refer to previous email verification of finishes from the architect. • Cushing Terrell will bring to the attention of the owner that the performance specifications for the fire sprinkler system describe a dry pipe system for the exterior seating area and canopies. Although Cushing Terrell recommends a dry pipe system the fire sprinkler system is being delivered as a design-build effort by another designer-of-record and thus the anti-freeze system as shown will be acceptable provided it meets all code and jurisdictional requirements. Cushing Terrell recommends the dry pipe system because improperly mixed ratios of the anti- freeze solution can become flammable. Of particular note, NFPA 13 requires specific safety procedures be followed with respect to the use and maintenance of anti-freeze systems. Compliance with these safety procedures is the responsibility of the design-build contractor to follow during the installation of the system. Architect's review is only for conformance with the design concept of the Project and compliance with the information given in the Contract Documents. Contractor is responsible for dimensions to be confirmed and correlated at the job site, for information that pertains solely to the fabrication processes or the techniques of construction, and the coordination of the work of all trades.
