Shop Drawings: 1. The addition is protected by a new dry pipe fire sprinkler system with a new 6"underground supply and riser supplied through the existing vault and backflow prevention. 2. The FDC is at the existing vault near Hunziker Road, and serves new and existing systems. 3. Site and underground work is described as"by others" and sufficient detail is provided for review of hydraulic calculations. 4. Alarm bell for new system is adjacent to the new riser. 5. Stated design density of 0.24 GPM/SF over 2600 SF is appropriate for Class III commodities palletized to 22' with roof level protection. Hydraulic Calculations: The remote area is calculated for 0.24 GPM/SF over 2600 SF with 22 K=8.0 upright sprinklers flowing and 500 GPM outside hose allowance. This calculation requires 1189 GPM at 78.7 PSI and is satisfied by the available water supply with a buffer of 16 PSI.
