We still need various items from you before the permit can be issued and you may wish to postpone your mobilization. I've attached a copy of the Conditions of Approval for SUB2014-00001. Please note that the tree-related conditions, #1- 4, need to be met prior to any ground disturbance work—which includes the proposed demo. #5 1 and 2 call for a written statement from your project arborist attesting to the fact that all required tree protection measures are in place. Please make sure that those measures are in place and provide us with a written statement to that effect from your arborist. #s 3 and 4 call for payment of a Tree Inventory Fee and provision of a Tree Establishment Bond or Cash Assurance. I'll get you the dollar figures this afternoon. Please arrange to have the fee paid and the bond or assurance provided. When these items have been taken care of we will be able to finish our review and ready the permit for issue, so when we can issue the permit depends upon how fast you can take care of these items. Obviously, this may mean that it will be more than one week from application submittal before the permit can be issued but please note that Branden did not say that the permit would be ready in "no more than one week." He actually said that it could take up to a week to process the application and that assumes that all relevant conditions have been met. We look forward to hearing from your arborist and receiving the fee and bond payments. Please let me know if you have any questions. However, as I mentioned before, these permits can take approximately one week to process, so hopefully we will have this permit completed by the end of this week for you -- depending on whether or not we have everything to issue the permit. I spoke with Gary Pagenstecher in our planning department, who is reviewing your demolition permit, and he said to contact him regarding any questions you may have about meeting the conditions of approval. Once the planning department completes their review, our engineering department reviews the permit. As you know, Al Dickman in our engineering department has already reviewed the plans, so once he receives the permit, he should be able to quickly route the permit to our Permit Coordinator, Albert Shields, for the final review.
