Remarks:
A representative from T.M. Rippey Consulting Engineers was on site to observe the installation of epoxy
embedded hardware into an existing concrete slab. The specified Hilti HY-200 epoxy was substituted by
the contractor with Simpson SET-XP as approved by the design engineer. No other issues were noted and
the anchors were located in accordance with detail 1/SK2 and 1/SK3. The installation of the epoxy
embedded hardware was in conformance with the manufactures installation guidelines and requirements.
