Re: Infiltration test report and storm water design for 14475 SW 125th Avenue,Tigard,OR Parcel No. 2S109AA0100/Permit No. WST2014-00194 Dear Mr.Girod, a° l 9'q Field Investigation: Soil and Water Technologies(SWT)has performed a total of one(1)infiltration test at the subject site.Figure 1 shows the project site location. Figure 2 shows a detail of the proposed soakage trench. In general,we encountered approximately eight inches of topsoil, underlain by about eight feet of native soil consisting of firm to stiff Silt trace sand. Infiltration Testing: Infiltration testing was performed as per the EPA falling head method. Tests took place in the 6" stand pipe with a bentonite plug in a test pit provided by the contractor and was performed at 3.5ft deep in the vicinity of the proposed facility. The test was performed a total of three times. The rates are shown on the following page spread sheet, Figure 3. SWT found the field measured rate was 3.5in/hr. Depth to Ground Water According to USGS ground water is over 50ft below the site.Ground water was not encountered. No storm water shall be placed upon any slopes over 15%. The analysis, conclusions and recommendations contained in this report are based on site conditions as they existed at the time of explorations.
