In accordance with your request,Eric R. Watson, S.E. of Miller Consulting Engineers.
Inc_has reviewed the previous design by our office dated December 18,2014,to verify
the proposed footing changes based on field conditions. As an alternative to the footing
reinforcement shown on Sheet S8.01 of the drawings dated 12/17/14, you may use four
layers of(3)44 bars in lieu of two layers of(4)#4 bars. In addition, the new construction
brackets may be Iocated in the middle of the footing in lieu of at 3/4'clear from the
bottom of the footing as shown in Detail 2/S8.01.All the other information contained
within the calculations and drawings dated December 17,2014 remain in effect.
