Youth Advisory Council - Minutes
MEETING DATE/TIME: Tuesday, November 18, 2014, 5:30 p.m.

1. CALL TO ORDER
This meeting was called to order at 5:32 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Carter Kruse, Caleb Torgerson, Zach Dean, Zahra Hashmat, Tyler Nickla, Elsa
Schuman-Lanier, Adam LaFountain, Mike Coloma,Jordan Stephens, Breanna Bennett
Tardy members: Shaun Rasmusen, Nathan Ung
Absent Members: Rayman Kirby,Jezeth Zaragoza, Amy Jensen, Christopher Rebolledo,Joseph

Staff: City Manager Marty Wine
3. OLD BUSINESS:
• Mike moved to approve last meetings minutes, Adam seconded the motion and the motion
passed.
• Sean has registered a domain for our website. He will be staying in contact with Nancy Lof.
• The next meeting we will be looking to get monthly spotlights for students in the district. We
will have it kick started by the next meeting. Until then, we will try to find youth to
recognize in local schools.
• T-shirts: Zach will show us design options and the next meeting. Will be between five and ten
dollars.
• Club Rush meetings at middle schools could be great for reaching out to younger students.
4.NEW BUSINESS
• Elections! Congratulations to everyone who has been elected, and thank you everyone who
ran.
