I received a copy of the Notice of Director's Decision which apparently is being sent to anyone within 250 feet of my property. There are two errors on this notice that need to be called to your attention and corrected. First, the name of the business is correct except there is no comma between the two words. The correct business name is Lindquester Inc. Secondly, the nature of the business is incorrect as you have described it on the notice of decision. I am not presently nor have I ever been involved in land surveying. And I did not request a home occupation permit to provide land surveying services to clients. Nature of Business The nature of the business for which I applied for a type II occupation permit is as follows: Tax preparation,and tax related consulting. Any accessory building that is used must meet Uniform Building Code requirements and be in conformance with TCDC Chapter 18.144 of this title; 6.) More than one (1) business activity constituting two or more home occupations shall be allowed on one property, only if the combined floor space of the business activities does not exceed 25 percent of the combined gross floor area of the residence and accessory structure. Each home occupation shall apply for a separate home occupation permit. The Tigard Business Tax requires payment for only one (1) Business Tax if the same owner is operating more than one approved business at the same location.
