Conditions of acceptance have been described as submitting or deferring permit for signage, and demonstrating 60%or higher visual transmittance (VT)of all new glazing on the ground floor level facing Main St. We have chosen to defer the signage permit to a later date, and I have attached with this document a manufacturer's chart that demonstrates coherence to the condition described above. The area highlighted in yellow shows conformance to a 60%or higher VT for the products we intend to utilize in glazing on this project. Please contact me directly if there are any further questions, comments,or decisions to report. Hopefully, there is a lower E product out there that meets the standard (at a price that makes sense). Windows are eligible for the facade improvement grant. Rear and upper floor windows don't need to meet the standard. _ Albert will be working with you to get the final sign off. Let me know if you have any other questions. Apparently John Floyd is out of town currently. We have passed building permit review, but need the final sign off on the design review. I received a conditional approval on this some time ago, but did not realize that this would keep up 2 the release of building permit. I am happy to comply with the design review conditions, though i do have questions about one: .6 or higher visual transmittance on glazing. This would require clear glazing that excludes low-E possibilities, and therefore - makes the building far less efficient. I want to make sure that this is desirable to the city before committing. Please give me a call whenever you have a chance, I've attached a copy of the conditional approval letter. Thanks. Greg.
