Meeting Minutes
December 16, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
President Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held in the Tigard
Civic Center, Town Hall, at 13125 SW Hall Blvd.

WORKSHOP— INFORMAL ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION WITH BUILDERS
President Anderson began the meeting by asking everyone present to introduce themselves.
Gordon Root introduced himself as a real estate developer since 1984 and past president of
the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland. Rick Waible is also a developer and a
multiple Best of Show Street of Dreams builder.
This workshop was a free-flowing discussion where the builders and the Planning
Commission asked each other questions to get a better understanding of each other and how
they might work even better together.
