PLANNING COMMISSION
Meeting Minutes
June 24, 2013
A casual, light dinner was served at 6:00 p.m. before the Call to Order.
CALL TO ORDER
President Anderson called the meeting to order at 6:20 p.m. The meeting was held in Conference
Room 4, at the Permit Center at 13125 SW Hall Blvd.

Commissioner Feeney
Commissioner Fitzgerald
Commissioner Gaschke
Vice President Rogers
Commissioner Shavey
Absent: Commissioner Doherty; Commissioner Muldoon; Commissioner Schmidt
Staff Present: Tom McGuire, Assistant Community Development Director; Doreen
Laughlin, Executive Assistant;Darren Wyss, Senior Planner; Marissa
Daniels,Associate Planner
PRE-TOUR BRIEFING
Senior Planner Darren Wyss passed out maps and explained how the evening's River Terrace
Annexation Area tour would proceed.
RIVER TERRACE TOUR
The van tour consisted of 8 stops throughout the River Terrace Annexation area. Darren
Wyss gave information regarding each stop. The tour lasted about 2 hours.
POST TOUR DEBRIEF (Conference Room 4)
President Anderson asked if anyone had questions or comments regarding the tour. The
commissioners all agreed it was a good, informational tour. The explanations had been
thorough and they had no further questions.
