The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is to
advocate for park and recreation opportunities for a growing Tigard.

On any portion of the property (2 is grant funds
On more than '/2 the property (5 is
2 points Property is privately owned Publicly owned properties are not as vulnerable.
The City could still enter into right of first refusal
agreements, but generally, Metro and City may
be reluctant to provide funding to protect
resources that are already under public
ownership
4 points Size of property The larger the property the more area
1-5 acres 1 t potentially protected
5-10 acres 2 is
10-15 acres 3 is
15 + acres 4 is
2 points Proximity to existing trails or City owned More "bang for the buck" to enlarge an existing
prop rty resource or complete a gap in the trail network
2 points Property identified through prior citizen input Property is of public interest the PRAB has
identified as a potential resource site.
15 points possible — each property assigned a point value based on whether any of the criteria listed
above are present.
