Steve informed the Board that there have been only a few other complaints from citizens over several years time. Park staff has been trained to talk to park users if they notice there is a noise problem and contact the police only when there is no cooperation. Special Use permits are required by park reservation users. The Board decided not to pursue the issue since there was no follow through by the citizen making the original complaint and relatively no other complaints from other park users. 7. Michael Freudenthal said he heard there was federal stimulus money that may be available for parks and trails. Steve thought it was only through the state for transportation purposes.
