MEETING LOCATION: Public Works Building, 8777 SW Burnham, Tigard, OR 97223
The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Advisory is to advise and advocate
for park and recreation opportunities for a growing Tigard.
1. Roll Call at 7:01PM.
Present: Michael Freudenthal, Kim Leinberger, Brian Davies,Jason Rodgers,Trisha Swanson.
Staff— Steve Martin, Greg Stout
Absent: Barry Albertson, Scott Bernhard
2. Comments from the audience: None.
Councilor Henderson in attendance.

3. Approval of Minutes: Mr. Freudenthal made a motion to approve the November 17th minutes as
presented and Trisha Swanson seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
4. Park update from Mr. Martin. Closing date for application for the new seats on the PRAB board
is February 13th. Depending on number of application there could be the possibility of two
alternates. City parks staff is putting the final touches on the entryway monument signs. The City is
comparing two prices on engineering and architecture for remodeling the Schaltz House.
Fanno Creek Park planning has been put on hold because of lack of funding. Price Park opening is
scheduled for sometime in February. Steve will get back to board with a firm date. Michael
Freudenthal asked if Bull Mountain residents were eligible to be in THPRD. Trisha Swanson asked
about a piece of property on Bull Mountain Road, and if she could forward the information to
Public Works.
5. PRAB Member Discussion. Annual goals for the coming year will be held at next month's
meeting. Steve will send out current goals to board. Election for new chair and vice chair positions

will also be next month. Trisha asked about bond measures and Ryan Motto from MIG stated that
it would be good to talk to the school district for help with a bond. End of PRAB minutes.
6. Start MIG Presentation on Park System Master Plan. Please see the attached power point.
