Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
Minutes
MEETING DATE: September 8, 2008 7:00 p.m. — 7:05 p.m.
MEETING LOCATION: Public Works Building, 8777 SW Burnham, Tigard, OR 97223
The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Advisory is to advise and advocate
for park and recreation opportunities for a growing Tigard.
1. Roll Call
Present: Kim Leinberger, Mike Freudenthal,Jason Rogers,Trisha Swanson, Brian Davies
Staff— Steve Martin, Dan Plaza
Absent: Jason Ashley, Scott Bernhard, Barry Albertson
2. Comments from the audience
None.
3. Approval of Minutes: August 11, 2008
Mr. Rogers moved and Ms. Leinberger seconded a motion to approve the minutes as presented.
Motion approved unanimously.
4. Topics for joint meeting with Council planned for September 16, 2008
The City Council asked that the meeting be changed to September 23. Three Board members
could not attend a meeting on that date. Brian Davies asked Steve Martin if he could try to get
a new meeting date set, preferably October 21, 2008. Mr. Davies asked that the discussion about
topics for the meeting be placed on the next Board agenda (October 13, 2008).
5. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 p.m. so that the Community Visioning Work Shop could be
conducted.
