Call to order— Chair Christopher Warren Chair Christopher Warren called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. a. Roll Call—Liz Lutz called the roll. b. Summary from May 4 meeting was considered and approved. c. Introductions — Committee, guests, and staff introduced themselves d. Visitor Comments —None 2. TTAC Comments on the joint meeting with the City Council The committee discussed the joint meeting with the City Council, and provided feedback to staff. Consideration of Support for Crescent Connection Funding Staff requested a letter from TTAC to Washington County Coordinating Committee (WCCC) to support the Crescent Connection funding was part of the agenda packet. The funding request is part of Metro's regional allocation for Active Transportation projects. Tigard has a joint proposal with Beaverton, Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation, and TriMet.Judith provided a map showing the overall project area. . . All approved sending the letter of support to the WCCC. 4. Downtown Walking Map/Wayfinding System Update Judith distributed a draft charter regarding support for the downtown walking map/wayfinding system. She said there is a need for a pedestrian count and survey. The survey may use the neighborhood network.Judith said that if anyone on the committee is interested in helping with data collection, send her an email. 5. Pacific/Gaarde/McDonald Design Workshop Mike McCarthy indicated this is a big project and there would be a few meetings on this topic. Tonight the two ODOT representatives and Alan Snook from DKS Associates presented several traffic flow options. The committee reviewed these options and worked on a couple of additional ideas for this intersection. The next workshop will be September 3rd and in November, they will talk through the best option. It was also suggested to create phases of the project for project funding purposes. There will be an open house on this project on August 15th. 6. Staff Updates a. Mike said they are finishing the work on Greenburg/Hall-doing some striping. b. Slurry seal will begin on July 19th. c. Pavement overlays —received bids and they came in lower than anticipated so there will be additional streets added to the project. This is set to begin in August. d. August meeting will be joint with the HCT and the consultants will return for this meeting. 7.
