This memo is to follow -up on our conversation of 4/7/08 regarding two issues on the above
referenced project. First, at the garage shear walls, it is acceptable to substitute Simpson SSTB14
for the 5/8" diameter x 10" embed Simpson SET Adhesive Anchors shown on the drawings. •
Second, for the garage driveway, the #4 dowels @ 2' -0" o.c. may be post - installed by drilling and
#4 dowels x 24" into the concrete stem wall with 4 1/4" minimum embedment using Simpson
SET Adhesive. Special Inspection is required. See attached revised sketch.
