Reviewed drawings for building A and B. ; 2. Brian asked that the calculations for maximum allowable LRS building area shown on sheet A0.1 (both sets) be checked again. The increase due to open yard is limited to a maximum of 30 %, IBC 506.2.1. The proposed area for each building is likely within the required limits, but the maximum allowable that we show exceeds the maximum allowable in the IBC. o 3. Brian suggested that we increase the distance between LRS building A & B to min. 20' -2" clear and min. 10'4" to the property line per IBC, section 704.8, for 45% of exterior wall ' allowable opening. 1.02 Schedule 1. LRS is on schedule to submit for Permit on June 19, 2006. Brian expressed concern that this process would be delayed, LRS, since the Site Development Review is still in process. An WRG address for the buildings must be on the permit set, but this will not be assigned until the SDR finished. O 1.03 Deferred Submittals 1. Brian went over basic requirements of deferred submittals: we must list the deferred submittals on the project cover sheet t. 2. The city of Tigard will charge a fee for each deferred submittal. The fee is above and beyond the plan check fee for the project. Notification appliance shall be electronic and use solid state components. Electromechanical alternatives are not approved. Each electronic appliance shall provide ' eight (8) field selectable alarm tones. The tones shall consist of: HORN, BELL., MARCH TIME HORN, CODE-3 HORN, CODE-3 TONE SLOW WHOOP, SIREN and HI /LO. Tone selection shall be by durable dip switch assembly and not clips or jumpers. The Multitone Audible appliance shall be UL Listed under Standard 464 for Audible Signal Appliances. The audible and the strobe shall be able to operate from a single NAC circuit while producing any of these tones. The appliance shall provide two output sound levels: STANDARD and HIGH dBA. The HIGH dBA setting shall provide a minimum 5 dBA increase in sound output at nominal voltage. The HIGH anechoicdBA measurement at 10 feet at the alarm HORN SETTING shall be 99 dBA minimum. Operating voltages shall be either 12 VDC or 24 VDC using filtered power or unfiltered power supply (full- wave - rectified). L:1\11.2:13 rage G 01 Operation in any Orientation The combination of sealed construction and Yuasa's unique electrolyte Suspension system allows operation in any orientation, with no Toss of performance or fear of electrolyte leakage. (Excluding continuous use inverted). New Venting System The batteries are equipped with a simple, safe low pressure venting system which releases excess gas and automatically reseals should there be a build up of gas within the battery due to severe overcharge. However, on no account should the battery be charged in a sealed container. Lead Calcium Grids The heavy duty lead calcium alloy grids provide an extra margin of performance and life in both cyclic and float applications and give unparalleled recovery from deep discharge. Long Cycle Service Life Depending upon the average depth of discharge, over a thousand discharge /charge cycles can be expected. Float Service Life The expected service life is five years in float standby applications. Separators The use of the special separator material provides a very efficient insulation between plates preventing inter -plate short circuits and prohibiting the shedding of active materials. Long Shelf Life The extremely low self discharge rate allows the battery to be stored for extended periods up to one year at normal ambient temperatures with no permanent Toss of capacity.
