The existing unit and curb weighed approximately 472Ibs, and the new replacement unit with curb and adapter curb weighs approximately 573Ibs. Based on our review, the existing rof structure will be adequate to support the replacement HVAC unit. Please verify the existing HVAC support framing as indicated on sheet S -2 prior to the installation of the new unit. Also included in this package are calculations and details for attachment of the new HVAC unit to resist wind and seismic loads. Please contact me with any questions.
