A RESOLUTION APPOINTING BILL BIGCRAFT AND JULIE PLOTZ TO THE BUDGET
COMMITTEE AND APPOINTING TIMOTHY ESAU AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER
WHEREAS, three positions are open on the city's budget committee due to Cameron James completing his
established term, and Melanie Boekee moving out of the City of Tigard; and there is currently no alternate
member;
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointments Advisory Committee conducted interviews of several individuals on
November 4,2013;and
WHEREAS, the Appointments Advisory Committee has recommended that Bill Bigcraft and Julie Plotz be
appointed to the city's Budget Committee. In addition;the committee has recommended that Timothy Esau be
appointed as an alternate member.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Bill Bigcraft is appointed to a three-year term on the City of Tigard's Budget Committee
beginning January 1,2014.
SECTION 2: Julie Plotz is appointed to finish out Melanie Boekee's three-year term on the City of Tigard's
Budget Committee beginning January 1,2014 and ending on December 31,2015.
SECTION 3: Timothy Esau is appointed to a one-year term as an alternate member on the City of Tigard's
Budget Committee beginning January 1,2014.
SECTION 4: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
