RE:Special Inspection-Pile installation for the residence®12902 SW Hillside Terrace Tigard Or
TM Engineering LLC, has completed a site visit to the residence above on Oct 1, 2013.The pur-
pose of the site visit was to provide a"special inspection for the installation of(3)helical pier.The
criteria used for evaluation of the piers was the ICC-ES report ESR-1854 and the conditions within
the calculation.
The pile Installation was performed by Ram Jack of Oregon,certified installers for Ram Jack
products. Please see attached pier drive log. The driven piles were installed with hydraulic
cylinders,the driving pressures are listed in the driving log(attached). The piles_exceed the the
required allowable loads as specified in the calculations. I.am satisfied with the depth and
capacities of the piers. I also ensured the foundation loads have been transferred to the brackets
and piers.
The pier proof testing procedure was performed and the results were satisfactory.
In conclusion,the foundation at this address was stabilized with the:pier installations.The piers
• have been installed in accordance with the Special Inspection report within the ICC report
ESR-1854 and the site specific calculations\conditions.
