RESOLUTION NO. 13- 05
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A TARGTED IMPROVEMENT GRANT TO
JEFFREY ALLEN HOME DECOR
WHEREAS, the City Center Development Agency established the Targeted Improvement Program
to attract new businesses to revitalize downtown Tigard;and
WHEREAS, the Targeted Improvement Program offers matching grants for tenant improvements
for new targeted businesses;and
WHEREAS, staff and the Urban Renewal Improvement Projects Joint Committee have evaluated
Jeffrey Allen Home Decor's application requesting a matching grant for eligible tenant
improvements in the vacant 12460 SW Main Street building;and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Improvement Projects Joint Committee found the proposal meets
the evaluation criteria and recommended approval to the Board of the City Center Development
Agency of the matching grant request of$75,000.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the Tigard City Center Development Agency that:
SECTION 1: A Targeted Improvement Program matching grant of Seventy-five thousand
dollars ($75,000) is awarded to Jeffrey Allen Home Decor, subject to the
terms and conditions to be outlined in the Agency's Letter of
Commitment.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
