Dear Mrs. Bechtold,
This letter is confirm our conversation regarding your above
referenced property, and whether you will be allowed to connect the
existing house to a private sewage disposal system (septic system).
As of this date, no public sanitary sewer exists within 300 feet of
your property (which is the point at which a property is required
to connect to the public sewer) . The city has no reason to prohibit
you from connecting the existing home to a septic system. You will
need to contact the County Health Department for septic system
regulations and permits (624- 4698).
