Mr. Poskin,
Hi. my name is Rich Payne.' I'm with Starbucks Coffee Company, in Seattle. We have a cosmetic
renovation coming up very soon at our location within the Washington Square Mall. We will be
changing out some light fixtures, painting, removing and replacing the casework. &, the one item that
may or may not be of any consequence to you, removing the counter seating as shown in figure one,
the demolition plan. I have spoken with Roger Ott from the mall, and he Is of course, concerned that
this project will require a permit due to changes made In traffic patterns and fire safety Issues. The
drawing clearly shows we are improving traffic flow and easing congestion in our space. If this meets
your satisfaction, could you please e-mail your approval to me? I realize Western Construction's
electrician may have to pull a permit for lighting changes. That is his dept.
