Matt, reviewing the bidding on the TVF &R project, here's an update on the status of outstanding items:
• Two permits require Final Inspection approval:
o Re- inspection on the final for ELC2008 -00594 can be scheduled as soon as corrections from 1/5/09
are complete;
o Re- inspection on the final for BUP2008- 00022, the overall building permit, may NOT be re-
scheduled until all Conditions of Approval are met; further, before a "pass" can be awarded on this
permit two Final Letters are required: a Final Summary Letter from Carlson Testing and a Final
Observation Letter from the Structural Engineer. We have no record of receiving either of these.
• Two remaining Conditions of Approval need to be satisfied:
o #21 is the Tree Deed Restriction we discussed yesterday in emails.
o #26 is the Final Sight Distance Certification which we have no record of receiving. Please supply
same.
o These two Not -Met Conditions are the primary hold -ups and must be completed before we can
schedule a Building Final re- inspection.
As you may know, Metro submitted plans and a permit app and paid fees this morning for BUP2009- 00004,
Fire Alarm System. This could have been taken care of earlier but, for our colleagues at TVF &R, we are

expediting Plan Review. Dan Nelson expects to complete review this afternoon and, if the plans are approved,
the permit should be issued by the end of the day. We have already inspected ' system and will "pass" the
Final as soon as the permit is issued.

Joy,
It's the vehicle card. The using of both cards was not permitted years ago. Since that time I haven't tried to use both
cards due to this, but my personal card works to get into the system to pump gas all by it's self. Next time I go to the
pump, I will try both cards and report back to you what it says.

I've been covering past couple weeks at the Public Works front desk and am just getting back to Fleet issues. You say
your personal gas card does not work. It would help if you could tell me what the pump message says when you try to
use it, because Bretthauer will need that information to solve the problem. Is this a new problem you are experiencing
or one that never got resolved in the past.

It looks like the finals have been called in for this project on Monday, 1/5/09. Engineering has case notes in that
they are ok for building finals but, I don't see a note from the Planning Department.
