existing architectural barriers. Section 1113.1.1 O.S.S.C.
Response: Per a telephone conversation on September 30, 1996, with Randy Emery, the applicant
will provide detectable warnings for the accessible route from the existing parking spaces to the front
entry doors where it crosses vehicular traffic in accordance with Section 1103.2.3.2 O.S.S.C.
Status: Resolved.

Enclosed please find four sets of prints and specifications for the tenant improvements at the
Mervyn's store at Washington Square Mall. From our understanding with you on projects we
have submitted to you in the past, an architectural firm sealing drawings in the state of Oregon
has to operate as a Professional Corporation registered in the state. The same is not true for a
Professional Engineer. He needs only to be registered as a P.E. to legally seal the documents.
Please accept the enclosed documents to fulfill the legal permit requirements. They are sealed
by a P.E. registered in the state.
