This is a second floor existing electrical room, which presently does not meet the 2002 NEC 110.26(C)(2) requirements. To comply with the requirements, a second door will need to be cut into the South wall, which is an exterior building wall two stories up. We will be adding on to the South end of the existing mall in phase 2, which is planned to start in October of this year, and then we can cut in the second exit to provide code compliance for that room. The revisions are on sheets E4.1, E5.1 and E6.1 and cover the three items you listed as requiring further detail information and corrections. Sheet E4.1 has added '/ " scale plans for the elevator machine room and the room for electric service, showing the size of equipment and the NEC required working clearances. Sheet E5.1 has the revised one -line diagram that shows: 1. The wire size of grounding electrode conductors, size and spacing of the grounding electrodes, bonding jumper for the service. 2. Generator grounding electrode conductor sizing, reference to detail for generator on sheet E6.1 with its callout of ground rods and spacing, and the fact that it is a non - separately derived system. 3. 45KVA transformer grounding electrode conductor size and reference to code requirements for grounding the secondary of a transformer in the order specified by the code. 4. Correction of utility transformer wrong callout T -12 to correct callout T -11. Sheet E6.1 has the revised generator detail drawing showing the size of grounding electrodes and spacing.
