The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2004 edition, and NFPA 13D. The submitted plans are approved subject to the following.
GENERAL
1. The system shall be hydrostatically tested for leakage at normal operating pressure where a
fire department pumper connection is not provided. 13D-4.3
2. Local water flow alarms shall be provided on all sprinkler systems in homes not equipped
with smoke detectors in accordance with NFPA 72. 13D -7.6
3. Installer shall provide to the owner /occupant instructions on inspecting, testing and
maintaining the system. 13D -4.2
4. Sprinkler piping should be adequately secured to restrict the movement of piping upon
sprinkler operation and shall be supported with any listing limitations. 13D -7.4
5. Sprinklers frames shall not be painted or enameled unless applied by the manufacture and the
sprinkler has been listed with such finishes. 13D -7.5.6
6. Minimum distance from edge of heat source to ordinary or intermediate temperature
sprinklers is as follows; 13D -Table 7.5.5.3
