The AES - intellinet 7788F will be the pathway of communication and will be connected to the existing Panel. We will not alter the existing fire system in any way; we will only be eliminating the phone lines which are currently monitoring the fire system and replace them with an AES - intellinet 7788F. The NFPA 72 AES - intellinet network is designed to transmit data from each transceiver and arrive to the central station via one of two IP- links. An IP -Link is used to collect data from radio signals supplied from a subscriber unit that are then forwarded using one of two communication paths. Those methods are a POT's line, which is a dedicated copper twisted pair phone line & an IP (internet) connection. The IP -Links are installed according to UL & NFPA 72 installation requirements Transceiver supervision will be obtained by the following: each antenna is supervised on the 7788F and in the event of the antenna being cut, local acknowledgement and annunciation will be provided at the panel. In addition, the radio communicator will provide a timer test every 12 hours. If a transceiver is too far to reach an IP -Link directly, it simply hops the data to the next closest transceiver and that transceiver relays it to the IP -Link. The Central Receiver is responsible for data to the alarm automation software. If any data cannot be relayed via one route, the mesh network automatically selects the next best route from 8 available routes at any given time. Our network dynamically and automatically adapts to changes in the network caused so it is highly redundant and reliable. The AES - intellinet wireless mesh network has been accepted under NFPA 8.6.3.5 One Way Private Radio section. This section is approved by meeting the criteria in Annex A under the One Way Private Radio section. AES - intellinet has also been received SSFM (California State Fire Marshal) approved and UL listed 864 (9, 827, 1610, 365, 681 editions). The manufacturer AES Corp. has acquired all UL certifications for the following equipment used; (2) 7705i central station receivers, (2) 7170 IP Link subassembly, and all 7788F 8 zone two -way RF Transceivers.
