Stories: 1 The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2007 edition; the State of Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC) 2005 edition and the Oregon Fire Code 2007 edition. The submitted plans have been reviewed and the following information is required prior to issuance of the permit. 1. The site plan provided does not reflect the change in elevation across the proposed building site. Contour lines are required at 2 -ft. intervals where there is more than 4 -ft. of elevation differential. See attached Building Permit Checklist item #11. / 'Tz pv I 47 f ,( 2. There is no method of wall bracing shown on the plans. The height of the south wall of the front garage exceeds the maximum height allowed for the prescriptive brace panels. Please revise plans to indicate compliance with all prescriptive wall bracing requirements of R602.10 or provide lateral analysis and design, including details and calculations, prepared by an engineer licensed to practice in the State of Oregon. A design in accordance with accepted engineering practices is required for the foundation walls that exceed 48" of unbalanced backfill and do not have permanent lateral support at top and bottom of the wall. Response Accepted: The truss design provided does not bear the engineers stamp and signature, but does appear to have been prepared by an engineering program used by the truss company. Please provide the stamped, engineered copy on -site prior to framing inspection. 7. New Item: It appears that the South existing driveway is going to be removed. Please confirm that the existing building plans (showing garage doors facing that driveway) are going to remain unchanged. Note: Please provide an item by item response to the remaining plan review comments above.
