The existing unit and curb weighed approximately 399Ibs, and the new replacement unit and curb weighs a maximum of 400lbs. Based on our review of the existing roof, the structure will be adequate to support the replacement HVAC unit. Please verify the existing HVAC support framing as indicated on sheet 5-2 prior to the installation of the new unit. Also included in this package are calculations and details for attachment of the new HVAC unit to resist wind and seismic loads. Please contact me with any questions.
