The truss spans approximately 28 ft and is 50 inches wide x 38 inches tall. Cold- formed steel stud walls with bracing provide lateral restraint at each top chord of the truss. Loads imparted on the truss include minimum interior partition loads (5 psf), seismic loads, and dead load from the cladding. Cladding is composed of medium density fiberboard (MDF) and aluminum composite material (ACM). Project Scope The scope of this project is to perform a structural analysis of the aluminum truss per the 2006 International Building Code and make modifications as necessary to the drawings provided to SML from National Mallfront. SML will sign and seal the fabrication drawings from National Mallfront upon completion of the analysis and after any modifications to the drawings /notes have been made as needed.
