Per our conversation in the a.m. of February 12, 1997, the excavation for your new house
at 12905 SW Wilmington Ln, MST97 -0017, is 6 feet to 12 feet deep and is approximately
6 feet from an adjacent structure. This creates an extreme hazard to the adjoining
property.
Per Section 3301 -2 of the 1994 Uniform Building Code, you are required to protect the
excavation so that the soil of the adjoining property will not cave or settle.
Due to current weather conditions and our local seismic zone, I am requesting that you
take immediate precautionary measures to protect the excavation.
