Since more than six months has elapsed with no inspection activity, it is assumed that the work has either been suspended or abandoned and this permit will be expired by limitation as provided in Section R105.5 of the Oregon One & Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. Please be advised that, in the event of a subsequent sale of your home, the lack of inspection approval for this permit could delay closing. The lending institution and /or the title company may require proof of a completed permit for such work prior to the sale of the property. We will allow thirty (30) days from the date of this letter to apply for reinstatement of this permit for the purpose of final inspection(s). Certain fees will be applicable at the time of reinstatement. A reinstated permit will be valid for 30 days. If the required inspection(s) fails, you will have an additional 30 days to make the necessary corrections. A minim fee of $70.00 will be assessed for additional inspection(s). If you fail to request these additional inspection(s), this permit will be expired without the opportunity for reinstatement.
