The minimum clear floor space req u -to accommodate a single, stationary wheelchair and occupant shall be not less that:130 inches wide by 48 inches long. Where the clear floor space is located in an alcove mope to 24nches deep and a wheelchair user must make a forward approach, the width of the clear floor space shall be increased to a minimum of 36 inches .Where the clear floor space is located in-af alcove more than 15 inches deep and the wheelchair user must make a parallel approach, the lengt� f the clear floor space shall be increased to a minimum of 60 inches. Exits and exit access doors shall be marked by an approved exit sign readily visible from any direction of egress travel. Access to exits shall be marked by readily visible exit signs in cases where theexitorhe path of egress travel is not immediately visible to the occupants. 1011.1 OSSC 1 t 4. All exit doors shall be operable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. 1008.1.8 OSSC 5. The means of egress shall be provided with illumination of not less than 1 foot candle at the floor level anytime the building is occupied. The means of egress illumination shall be provided with a second source of power in case of primary power loss. 1006.2 OSSC 7. Deferred submittals such as Truss Joist Shop Drawings, TJI floor joist, Acoustical ceiling suspension system, Fire stopping, Intercom system, Specialty retaining walls, etc, will be charged a deferred submittal fee based on the valuation of the portion of the work being deferred. The minimum fee shall be $200.00. This fee is in addition to the project plan review fee based on the total project value. The City of Tigard reviews the plans and inspects-the stiiictiire only for compliance with Chapter 11 of the OSSC, which may not include all of the requirements of the ADA. Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City f�gard approval stamp, shall be maintained on the jobsite.
