Your plans for the proposed tenant improvement; the following items require your attention.
1. The mall was designed under the provisions of OSSC 104.2.8 (alternate methods),
requiring two (2) exits from each tenant space regardless of occupant load. The required
second exit from this space passes through a stockroom, which is prohibited under the
provisions of OSSC, Section 1004.2.2. In order to comply, a rated corridor system will be
required. Provide details.
2. Provide seismic calculations and design standards for the shelving units. The calculations
shall bear the seal of a licensed Oregon Engineer. OSSC, Section 1632.
3. Provide seismic and structural calculations for the storefront. The calculations shall bear
the original seal of a licensed Oregon Engineer.
4. Provide Non - Residential energy code forms 5a through 5c and related
worksheets.
