The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code
(OSSC) 2007edition; and the State of Oregon Fire Code (OFC) 2007edition. The
submitted plans are approved subject to the following conditions.
1) Please provide engineered design for the grid ceiling supports, including
seismic struts, taking into consideration the approximate 17 -20 ft. of interstitial
space between the ceiling tile and the roof. Please include all calculations for
engineered designs with all submittals. OSSC106.1
2) Please indicate on the plans which partition walls are to terminate above the
ceiling grid and which are to go to structure above as shown on sheet A1.0.
Also provide calculations and construction details (including seismic bracing
details for non full height partitions) for all walls. Note: The roof structure is
approximately 30' above the finished floor. OSSC 106.1
3) Seismic calculations and connection details are required for all storage racks
per ASCE 7 (section 15.5) as referenced by the OSSC (section 1613). The
City of Tigard allows racks up to 8' in height without such calculations. Please
provide the calculations and connection details for the 10' high racks shown
on sheet A4. OSSC 106.1
4) Please provide calculations and construction details for the soffit and
storefront shown on sheet A5. OSSC 106.1

enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City
