The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Mechanical Specialty Code
(OMSC) 2002 edition; and the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Ordinance 99 -01 (TVFR99-
01) 1999 edition The submitted plans are approved subject tote - following.
1. Exhaust hood shall be supported by non - combustible elements that are designed and
constructed to accommodate the weight and dynamic loads 507.6 OMSC
2. Equipment and appliances regulated by this code requiring electrical connections
shall have a positive means of disconnect in accordance with the Electrical Code.

3. Appliances shall be accessible for inspection, service, repair or replacement without
removal of permanent construction. 306.1 OMSC
4. Appliances installed on roofs or elevated structures exceeding 16 feet in height shall
be provided with a permanent means of access grade or floor level. 306.5 OMSC
5. Manufacturer's installation instructions shall be available on the jobsite at the time of
inspection. 304.1 OMSC
Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall
be maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors
throughout all phases of construction. 106.4.2 OSSC
