Provide an accessible cashier counter detail. OSSC, Section 1108.4.7.2 and 1109.23.2. Fire Life Safety 1. Washington Square Mall was designed and approved under alternate methods of design and construction. All spaces require two exits regardless of occupant load. Both exits must enter an approved rated corridor. The exit at door #2 enters a storage area, this is not allowed under OSSC, Section 1004.2.3. In order to comply a rated corridor complete with "S" label rated doors will be required. Door # 2 shall also have a twenty- minute rating with an "S" label door. Doors entering the storage area shall also be rated with the "S" label door. 2. Provide an illuminated exit directional area eight feet beyond the egress opening at door #2. - 4 Electrical, mechanical, plumbing and sprinkler permits are deferred submittals.
