construction having a ['h "][ 3 /4"] NPT thread. Water seal assembly shall consist of a
Teflon - coated Belleville spring washer and top - loaded extruded cup with 3 mm glass
bulb containing no plastic parts. Sprinkler temperature rating shall be [135 °F (57 °C)]
[155 °F (68 °C)] [175 °F (79 °C)] [200 °F (93 °C)] [286 °F (141 °C)]. Sprinklers shall
have a nominal K- factor of [2.8 (40) — small orifice] [4.2 (61.0) — small orifice] [5.6

plastic parts. Concealed sprinkler assembly shall be capable of providing PA" of cover
plate adjustment, with non - adjustable inlet] [ 1/1/2" of total adjustment utilizing a factory
assembled 1" NPT (male) (female) adjustable coupling reducer and the 1/2" cover plate
adjustment]. Cover plate shall attach to the sprinkler cup by strong threaded engagement.
Any secure engagement between the cover plate and the cup will assure that the drop -
down deflector is properly located below the ceiling. Sprinkler K- factor shall be nominal
[2.8 (40.6)] [4.2 (61.0)] [5.6 (81.0)]. Sprinlder temperature rating shall be Ordinary
165 °F (74 °C); cover plate temperature rating to be 135 °F (57 °C). A plastic protective
cap shall be provided and factory installed inside the sprinkler cup to protect the drop -
down sprinkler deflector from damage, which could occur during construction before the
cover plate is installed. Standard cover finish: [Bronze] [Chrome] [White] [Specialty —
specify]. Quick response concealed pendent sprinklers shall be Reliable Model G4A.

respect to orifice and thread combination.
