The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2004
edition; and 2004 Oregon Fire Code as amended by TVF&R The submitted plans are approved
subject to the following conditions.
1. Awnings to be installed per Engineers designed instructions.

Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall be
maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors
throughout all phases of construction. 106.3.1 OSSC
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed
City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in
tracking and processing the documents. •

The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2004
edition; and 2004 Oregon Fire Code as amended by TVF &R. The following information is
required in order to complete the review.
1. Please provide design information as required per OSSC 3105.3 "Awnings and canopies shall
be designed and constructed to withstand wind or other lateral loads and live loads as required
by Chapter 16 with due allowance for shape, open construction and similar features that relieve
the pressures or loads." OSSC 1607.11.2 "Awnings and canopies shall be designed for a
uniform live load of 5 psf as well as for snow loads and wind loads as specified in Sections
1608 and 1609."
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed
City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in
