ENERGY CALCULATIONS (REVISED 06 -28 -1999)
Dear Scott:
Please find enclosed the Energy Calculations for the partial store remodel for the Electronics
Department. The actual wattage is 37,267 watts which is 225 watts below the 1998 Oregon Energy
Code allowable watts. The Electronics Department has been converted to a China /Glass and
Housewares Department.
The lighting has been revised to use compact fluorescent light fixtures Type K1 (54 watts each) instead
of the 150W Type F and Fl quartz fixtures. The quantity of 60 watt accent lights has been reduced.
The total effected area for this project is 18,172 SF which includes the China /Glass and Housewares
Departments inclusive of sales and support stock room.
A revised lighting plan E2 is being issued to incorporate the revised lighting design.
