The submitted plans are approved subject to the following conditions. 1. The structural was reviewed and approved by Miller Consulting Engineers June 14, 2006. (review doc. attached). 2. Special inspection is required for concrete, welding reinforcing steel, bolting welded studs, embed plates, bolts in concrete, steel fabrication and erection, adhesive and expansion anchor installation. The special inspection agency of record shall furnish inspection reports to the Engineer of Record, the General Contractor, and the City of Tigard, Building Division, attention Hap Waddns. All discrepancies shall be brought to the immediate attention of the general contractor for correction. The special inspector shall submit a final signed report stating whether the work requiring special inspection was, to the best of the inspector's knowledge, in conformance with • the approved plans and specifications and the applicable workmanship provisions of the code. 1701.3, 1704 OSSC 3. Live Loads Posted: The live loads for which each floor has been designed to exceed 50 psf shall be conspicuously posted by the owner in that part of each story in which they apply, using durable metal signs, and it shall be unlawful to remove or deface such notices. The occupant of the building shall be responsible for keeping the actual load below the allowable limits. 1603.3 OSSC FIRE LIFE AND SAFETY / GENERAL 4. All exit doors shall be operable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. Sec. 1008.1.8 5. Provide 2 -A rated fire extinguishers in the new area. The extinguisher shall be located so that no usable space has a distance greater than 75 feet to the extinguisher. OFC 906.3 9. Deferred submittals such as Truss Joist Shop Drawings, suspended ceiling system etc, will be charged a deferred submittal fee based on the valuation of the portion of the work being deferred. The minimum fee shall be $200.00. This fee is in addition to the project plan review fee based on the total project value.
